Pain Management and Interventional Procedures

Modern Non-Surgical Solutions

Chronic and acute pain are among the greatest obstacles limiting the quality of life for modern people. Our PAIN MANAGEMENT AND INTERVENTIONAL PROCEDURES unit aims to provide lasting solutions by identifying the source of pain not merely symptomatically, but at the biomechanical and cellular levels. By combining advanced imaging technologies with regenerative medicine techniques, we help our patients regain their health without the need for surgical intervention.

The spinal system is the body’s main supporting structure. Problems in this area not only cause localised pain but also disrupt the body’s overall mechanics.

Rehabilitation for Lumbar, Cervical and Thoracic Disc Herniations

A herniated disc occurs when the integrity of the discs between the vertebrae is compromised. As part of LUMBAR, CERVICAL AND THORACIC DISC HERNIATION REHABILITATION, specialised protocols are implemented to reduce the pressure on the nerves caused by the herniation and restore disc health.

  • Decompression Target: To relieve pressure by increasing the space between the vertebrae.
  • Stabilisation: Eliminating the risk of recurrence by strengthening the surrounding muscle tissue.

Manual Therapy and Joint Rehabilitation

MANUAL THERAPY harnesses the healing power of skilled hands. Without the use of any equipment, restrictions in the joints and tension in the soft tissues are relieved using solely manual techniques.

  • REHABILITATION FOR JOINT PAIN: Osteoarthritis and mechanical disorders in weight-bearing joints such as the knee, shoulder and hip are treated using mobilisation and manipulation techniques.

Some pains are systemic and are linked to the body’s defence mechanisms.

  • REHABILITATION OF RHEUMATIC DISEASES: In conditions such as inflammatory joint rheumatism, it is of critical importance to maintain joint range of motion and prevent deformities.
  • FIBROMYALGIA TREATMENT: For this common condition, also known as ‘soft tissue rheumatism’, a comprehensive recovery plan is devised, incorporating medical treatments, nutritional support, sleep management, specific exercises and interventional procedures.

Methods that trigger the body’s self-healing capacity (regeneration) are at the heart of modern pain management.

Prolotherapy and Dry Needling

  • PROLOTHERAPY: The body’s natural healing process is reactivated by applying specialised solutions to damaged ligaments, tendons and joints. It involves injecting a special solution into damaged or loosened ligaments to induce ‘controlled inflammation’. It is particularly effective for ligament injuries where stability is compromised, tendinitis, osteoarthritis and coccyx pain.
  • KURU İĞNELEME: Kaslardaki “tetik nokta” (kulunç) adı verilen ağrılı odakları doğrudan hedefleyerek kasın normal gerginliğine dönmesini sağlar.
    • Twitch Response (Seğirme Yanıtı): İğne kasın içine girdiğinde kasın verdiği ani tepki, kasılmış liflerin mekanik olarak çözülmesini ve kan akışının artmasını sağlar.

Neural Therapy and Mesotherapy

  • NEURAL THERAPY: A segmental treatment method that corrects the body’s impaired regulation by acting via the autonomic nervous system.
  • PAIN MESOTHERAPY: By administering low doses of pharmacological agents directly into the subcutaneous tissue of the painful area, rapid relief is achieved with no side effects.

PRP, Exosome and Cytokine-Based Therapies

  • These therapeutic agents, which have a tissue-regenerative effect and are derived from the patient’s own cells or obtained from external sources, are injected into the affected tissue under ultrasound guidance to promote tissue healing.

The main difference with the injections administered at our centre is that they are ‘targeted’.

  • ULTRASOUND-GUIDED INJECTIONS OF THE MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM, SPINE AND PERIPHERAL NERVES: With these procedures, which are performed under imaging guidance, medication or solution is delivered precisely to the targeted tissue or the area surrounding the nerve. The margin of error is minimised, and efficacy is maximised.
  • ULTRASOUND-GUIDED TISSUE-REGENERATING INJECTIONS: Injections administered to facilitate the biological repair of the damaged area are delivered with millimetre-level precision under ultrasound guidance.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorders

Difficulty chewing, clicking sounds and facial pain are often overlooked. TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DISORDERS: REHABILITATION AND INJECTIONS successfully treat intra-articular dysfunction and muscle tension in this area.

Injection Therapy: Where necessary, intra-articular lavage or fluid injections are performed under ultrasound guidance.

Intravenous (IV) Supportive Treatments

Recovery must be supported not only from the outside, but also from within.

  • INTRAVENOUS SUPPORT THERAPIES (GLUTATHIONE AND VITAMIN C): High-dose antioxidant therapies are administered to reduce inflammation in the body, boost the immune system and accelerate cellular repair.
  • Deformity Prevention: Protective positioning and exercises are used to prevent permanent deformities in the joints.

FIBROMYALGIA TREATMENT

Fibromyalgia is a disorder involving a disturbance in the way the central nervous system perceives pain (central sensitisation).

  • Holistic Protocol: The patient’s pain threshold is raised through nutritional support, trigger point treatments and low-intensity aerobic exercise.
