Dr Merve Cemil, Assistant Professor, is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation who combines scientific excellence with a personalised treatment approach in the field of musculoskeletal health and advanced rehabilitation. In her clinical practice, she aims to provide her patients with a high-quality healthcare experience by integrating highly sensitive diagnostic methods and modern treatment technologies.
He graduated with honours from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2014 and completed his specialist training at Istanbul Hospital of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2019. During his medical training, he gained clinical experience in the fields of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and Plastic Surgery in Germany in 2012 and 2013, enabling him to adapt to international medical practice at an early stage.
As of 2024, he continues his academic work as an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences at Istanbul Health and Technology University. He has been actively working in the private healthcare sector since 2022 and, as of February 2026, continues to see patients at Istanbul Central Hospital Etiler.
Dr Cemil’s clinical areas of expertise include orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation, spinal health and deformities, advanced analysis and treatment of scoliosis and postural disorders, high-precision musculoskeletal injections guided by ultrasound, and the rehabilitation of lymphoedema and lipoedema using manual therapy techniques.
